Grateful Saturday- things I know

It's been a strange week.

Coming home from a weekend like no other and with my husband being home almost everyday ...all day. Technically unemployed now we have stopped taking on new business and no business premises to operate from.

Things I know - my Internet time has been and will continue to be severely curbed for a bit . Maybe that is a good thing because we have to get 'moving' on preparing our house for sale. I'm both grateful and sad that it is happening.

I'm grateful for being able to attend the Aus Blog Con and garteful for the community of amazing women to which I am proud to belong.

Things I know - I enjoyed myself immensely although I missed my family terribly and got all teary talking to my little lads on the phone who stayed with my mum & brother. DH was at the farm.I was very anxious about them the whole but I did enjoy a break from the constant "MUM".

I'm grateful that my oldest son still plays his drums in a band .... at his friend's house. It was lovely to see S & J drag out and play the old drums the other day when they watched ZingZilla's.They had a blast and it was funny to see them so excited.

Things I know - The Teen's friend's mum is worth her weight in GOLD to have the bandmates play (& eat) at her house. The neighbours are more than grateful too .We haven't had any more council visits for noise complaints from the 'neighbour' (who lives in the corner at the back fence mind you).

I'm grateful for my very first paid sponsored post ...reviewing  ZingZilla's. Our income is very limited at the moment and every little bit helps while we still have a huge mortgage to pay until we sell our house.

I 'd love you to join in the conversation ...Does your child want to be in a band?
What instrument or song do they love the most?

Grateful posts are here today at Maxabella's gorgeous sister a twin mum extraordinaire @Then there were four.

I am also playing along with Shae @ Yay for home's - Things I know too because she was so 'engaging' and friendly to meet. Go say hi - she made her self well known and was a dancing queen.

  Never miss a po

Loved meeting you, too, the weekend was so surreal!
What an awful neighbour!
The break was lovely but the Aspie teen at home was anxious to hear my voice and be reassured which day I'd be back :)

I was bummed I didn't get to meet you at the ABC. Maybe next time? You are learning lessons all over the place this week. There's a lot to be grateful for huh?

Gosh, so nice to know I'm not the only one with yucky neighbours who would know happy children if they ran up and smiled at her!! (I promised wanderlust I'd stop calling her the fun police for 24hours so I could enter her giveaway...but that time is now UP!!!)
Nice that you got the chance to miss your kids though...gives you a little time out, and makes you appreciate them all the more everyday :-)
have a great weekend Trish...hope you can drop in to blog occassionally and keep us up to date with your move...

How incredible are you? Even when life gets a little challenging, you're still able to find things to be grateful for. Good on you!! :)

You know, there is something so heartening coming here and reading this post. You have written it with such grace.

Luckily my neighbour's son plays the drums, as does my son, so no complaints from either of us!

Take care xxx

@Shae - and back to you !
Things I know is a thoughtful and funny meme too. Take it any way you please - kind of meme.

@Jayne- she used to yell over the cnr fence too when teen had playmates over ...kids can be loud in their own backyard no law against that.
AT least you know Aspie teen missed you and maybe appreciates you more. Bless him.

Multiple Mum - and me. I didn't know you were there.I hope to get to next one :)

Suz - I know - need a social day for lots of chatting next year.It was dark at dinnerdance and not many name tags ...maybe for a good reason LOL.

Cate - aww - not you too.
When we move the nearest neighbours are a km away. I will NOT miss her though.

Kellie -thanks.I still have my own pity party ;) when the challenge gets too much.

Naomi - Thank you. That is blessing of sorts to have a drummer for a neighbour. Hope he is talented.

She actually lives in the next street - but we are both long battleaxe properties so we meet on a cnr. I have never seen her in 6.5 yrs.

Lots of things to be grateful for. My personal favourite? Your little drummer boy praciticing at a friend's place. Fabulous! How on earth did you organise that? xx
