Grateful Saturday - Joel

This Saturday I am grateful for my children.
They are the light of my life and they are my happy place.
I wrote the other day how I was in awe of four .

  1. They play together , more cooperatively and interact well with less intervention from me.
  2. It means I can sit down 'clean' for longer periods.
  3. I love the random conversations with them and how funny they are.

What Kids Say ?

What Joel 4yrs , 4 months ...on the left drums says ...

What do you want to be when you grow up ?
How old is Grown up?
How do you know when you are in love?
you 'I love you' (*meaning the signing for I love you)
How big is an elephant?
big like mummy & daddy
What's your favourite colour?
Name something that is bigger than Australia?
A house
Where does dust come from?
from a tractor
Who's the most famous person you know?
Cameron (his 4yr old friend)
Why do people go bald?
because they love too
How do we get rain?
from the sky
What do you do to make yourself feel better when you're scared ?
cuddle a friend
What comes next in this sentence ?
>You can't teach an old dog to ...
drive a car
>If at first you don't another car
>Boys are ...kind
>Girls are ...
kind too
>Boys like ...mud
>Girls like...mud too, playing with ponies

Why do mummies yell ?

we do naughty things

If you were an animal what would you be ?
What is your favourite place?
What won't you leave home without ?
Mummy & Daddy

(I borrowed this idea from the free local paper)

Aww, cute! Mr C who is nearly 2 has taken to singing at the top of his voice: "h-py birfday to ou - HOO-WAY"
And this can be anywhere.. in restaurants, down the supermarket aisle, driving around town... makes me smile every time :)
