Wordless Wednesday : Lifou ~ Loyalty Islands

Lifou - New Caledonia - No Filter . It looked like giant swimming pool with clearest turquoise water.

The main Church was a long walk up a steep rocky path - solar powered no vehicle access we could see.

It was surreal , even our tropical islands aren't so coloured.
Oh my gosh, that turquoise ocean is stunning! Turquoise is my favourite colour. What a beautiful location!

This reminds me of our Caribbean cruise earlier this year. Similar crystal clear water and island vistas. Oh how i would love a cruise to anywhere right about now!

New Caledonia islands - thought to have broken off Australia. I'd never heard of it either. Close to Vanuatu -Villa, and Noumea.
