Wordless Wednesday ~ Blanket of Care

Friendship wraps itself around the heart like a warm blanket of care.

A lovely friend hand-made me this pink and dark blue (almost purple) blanket and gave it to me yesterday. It is to take with me while I am away having Radiotherapy. Orange is very cold in May ( lows of 1 ° with daytime temps 10- 15 °) and June too.

Today is the BIG planning appointment in Orange - fingers crossed it all goes to plan.

I love how it is blanket weather now!! What an awesome blanket. One thing on my to do list is learn how to knit properly!!
Everything crossed today for you Trish.
Thanks for your comment yesterday, my 5 year old has been doing scripture at school and I am loving his interpretation of the bible. For example Jesus was a carpet man, not a carpenter a carpet man who put down the carpet!!

Oh what a thoughtful gift, I bet you will treasure it long after radiation is done. Our Mercedes is going to be doing a therapeutic Wrapped in Angels' blanket making programme next term, it's aimed at children with trauma and she's very much looking forward to it.
