Wordless Wednesday ~ Is year 2 ready for you 2

This is their first year in separate classes. I know I am going to cry when I put them on the bus ...

Oh that first photo, classic, cheeky!! I just love it!! xo
Our twins are off to their first day in Year Two tomorrow too! They've been in separate classes since Kindy, I remember how nerve-wracking it was splitting them up but it's been the best thing we could have done for them.

I hope the girls have a lovely day.
We didn't in kindy as we were new to school and the country, last yr in yr1 i was still having treatment and it was easier having them in the same class (and they ended up having same kindy teacher )
I can't wait to heat how they went today.
Sounds like a sensible approach! How did they go today?! Sienna and Mercedes had a pretty smooth day I think. I was very ambivalent about splitting them in kindy but the teachers recommended it after orientation as they felt the girls were a bit too dependent on each other (I suspect it was more to do with being able to tell them apart!) and it's turned out to be totally the right approach for them.

They're blimin' adorable, I am sure year 2 will love them!
awesome pics! Wish I had thought to do it with signs. I have pics of Nick from last year and this year but I think I'll be flat out remembering which was which in years to come!

Good luck to the boys ... I bet they get twice the joy and make twice the friends ...

What great pics and such handsome lads you have their Trish. I bet they will enjoy and hate being in different classrooms, maybe an opportunity for them to grow individually?! Can't wait to hear all about their first few weeks x
A memorable day Trish, hope you have something to preoccupy yourself with for today! They look excited!

It's always hard to send them back to school. Cant believe they are in Year 2 already...must mean Hayden is in Year 1 - scary that they are growing up so fast.
I love the chalk board idea with photos! I'm totally doing that with bubba in her photos later on. I love the photo with the apple!

Wonder how they coped apart from each other - bet they never stopped talking at recess.
Lovely memories to look back on. Thanks for sharing

Great photos! I love the chalkboard idea!
Such gorgeous photos of your lovely boys. Hope they have a wonderful year as Year Twos :)
My twins are only 18 months and I constantly wonder whether I should put them in the same class or not. I'd love your insight.

We kept them together for kindergarten and year 1, our school started with 5 sets of twins - 3 stayed together and 2 fraternal Boy/boy and Boy/girl were separated.
The Fraternal boys left last year, identical boys were separated too.
Year 2 now all four sets are in separate classes to their twin. So far it is going ok. My sons had the same teacher for kindy and yr1- end of yr 1 she told me that #2 twin needed his own space.
