Dear Readers

Day 27 -Letter to your readers

I'm taking part in the City to Surf as Gold Charity Runner  raising funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia .Today alone, 40 Australian women will hear the words ‘you have breast cancer’. Life will never be the same again. I was one of those women 12 months ago.

Every extra dollar raised goes towards
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) works to ensure that women diagnosed with breast cancer, and their families, receive the very best information, treatment, care and support possible, no matter who they are or where they live. You can help me too I've pledged to raise $1000 - donate here

Love the image and letter - great work.

Thank you for sharing your breast cancer story to Trish. So often we really don't know what is happening and I have a strong sense that you work very hard on focussing on the positive and therefore we may not hear about the truly awful awful moments. Either way, I have been inspired by your sharing, your strength and your attitude to fight the beast that is cancer.

I tried to be as honest as I could. Chemo was awful but things are much better now. Thank you Claire
Love it Trish. It's so important that everyone does this even if it doesn't run in their family. My father got a cancer that doesn't run in his family and it's worse when you think well how did it happen if it's not in the genes. Breast awareness for women is as important as pap smears.
Lots of Love

Such an important message Trish. Thank YOU for giving so much of yourself over the last 11.5 months despite everything. I have to agree that if you reach just one person who self-examines regularly
Thanks for the reminder Trish. And I have to confess, I'm really bad at feeling myself up even though I know how important it is. I KNOW I should do it regularly to keep myself in check.
