Wordless Wednesday ~ Best Butt Toning Exercise

Running Stairs ...

Fire stairs when you are on holidays (in my case) and it's raining

The 'extreme' low cost exercise of running stairs is an efficient way to reach your goal of derriere toning and improve cardio fitness.
No need for any expensive equipment or to find a local gym ...just a good pair of runners and a set of stairs and you are all good to go.
Being accessible both indoors and outside it is perfect in all kinds of weather. During great weather, treat yourself to running stairs at a local beach or if the weather is foul run the stairs inside a suitable building.
We have no stairs at home ...

I did stairs just yesterday for my half marathon as my hills sprint training ! I thought my lungs were about to burst out of my chest! So good for you, but ugh! So, so tough!
Good on you for tackling them! You are such a trooper, Trish! xxx

Stairs are a little light on out here and the couple at the front of the house aren't very safe. But definitely great for working out!

Hi Trish

I finally was able to get a post up without too many words in it, to join in for the first time. Thanks for hosting.

I did lots of gardening work over the weekend and I can feel it today. Coincidence you posted this, I was just thinking this morning that I should use my stairs for intentional exercise.

My daughter has step at her unit and I often use them for the exercise. Use to have a house with a stair case and use to curse it - now I realise how fit it kept me and miss them.
