Wordless Wednesday ~ Leaping Lizards

A lovely reader Sarah tells me it's a Baby Bearded Dragon
“Faith is a process of leaping into the abyss not on the basis of any certainty about ~where~ we shall land, but rather on the belief that we ~shall~ land.” Carter Heyward

I love lizards, we have geckos in Queensland, and they are our (okay my) best mates, we call them Garry, George, Gertrude... you get the G message. I leave my laundry night on at night (powersaver bulb I promise) for my middle baby because he's scared of the dark (like I was) and Garry often comes inside to play and eat the bugs attracted to the light! Without faith in something or someone, what else do we really have?! Em xxx

I made the mistake of looking at this with a 3 year old looking over my shoulder. For the last 10 minutes I have been bombarded with "that looks like the lizard from Fiji, when are we going to Fiji to see the lizards, we need to catch a plane to Fiji, can we go tomorrow" etc!! Cool picture!!

I love that quote! We had a lizard like this one on the patio on Sunday morning, perhaps seeking shelter from the wild weather?

We have multiple lizard families in our back and front yards. I don't mind them - except for when they decide to come inside!

Happy WW, Trish!
I do love this photo Trish. Made even more awesome by the quote you found for it. You always match words and pictures so beautifully. Hope all is well, feels like forever since I have been here, off to sticky beak around. Fairy wishes and butterfly kisses lovely

One more thing, so maybe mine aren't geckos if yours are? Where is an Aussie wildlife expert when you need them? Hugs... Em x
