Wordless Wednesday ~ Baby Angus

The Hungry cows nicked the hay off the back of the truck parked out the front and from inside the shed ...

The new calves sat around waiting.

Up close ...

Even the cat wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Off to the Dam... we think the Cow of the left is feeding 2 calves ? not sure if they are twins though.

“#1487: Hug a cow.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr., The Complete Life's Little Instruction Book -

I would hug the baby Angus but the Mumma's get a little cranky and go crazy ..

I wouldn't hug them either if Mum was close by! They are cute when they are little!
I always love watching the calves! Reminds me of my childhood and hanging out at our friend's farm...
Gorgeous. xxx

Cows freak me out. We stayed on a farm stay in Tassie with black angus cows. More recently one freaked me out, A 'pet one', that had me and Summer in the black pram sized up, and looked like he was going to charge. He nudged me up the bum, cheeky devil. I tailed it quick smart out of the paddick after that!!

They are so cute. Seems a pity to end up eating the little fellas!

Gorgeous photos! Mine aren't nearly as professional. Let's just say my Wordless Wednesday is more an exercise in construction (and team building perhaps?)
Have a great day!

Great photos. We had an angus when I was growing up. We imaginatively called him Angus!

Love that then cat has to come and have a little look and isn't terrified of the cows. And I must say that I would most definitely not be hugging Mumma Cow either, babies yes, their Mumma not a chance!

As soon as I saw the picture, the song Cows with Guns popped into my head (by Dana Lyons)..
An epic musical tale about the great cow revolution!

the song is now stuck in my head...

Have a great day x

I so miss seeing the calves from my old house on the hill. I would sit and watch them for ages. I didn't realise that there was a whole "village" dynamic in cows until I was incapacitated and had to sit still. Was interesting to watch. Xx
