We think this little calf is from Joel's cow, his grandpa gave him.

Beautiful pics there. Love the calf and the sunlight.
I grew up on a farm and my sister and I LOVED it when our 'town' cousins' came to stay and went nuts opening gates, collecting eggs, helping dad milk the cow - all the stuff we were sick of :)

The picture of your boys opening the big gates reminded me so much of growing up in Stanthorpe (border of QLD and NSW) - although we lived in town a lot of my friends owned properties and I had many experiences of opening and closing those type of gates!!

Automatic gate openers! Love it. I love it when they love doing something helpful! I have an automatic Avon catalogue dropper and pick upper here! He really loves it when the catalogue hasn't been left out and he gets to leave a "Sorry we missed you" card in the wire door!
