Things I know -

Things I know
..no matter how many times I tell myself selling our home and moving to Central West is going to be a good thing my heart is still anxious .I feel very sad about selling & leaving family and friends. This , too, will pass. I pray. I do love the farm.

...keeping perfectly clean a house with twin 4yr old tornadoes and a 'tumultuous' untidy teen is going to be my greatest challenge. I hope the first family who sees our house buys it.

...It's fantastic news the Teen got a new job and mini promotion this week but having him leave at 6am means we all have an early wake up . DH wakes to make sure the Teen has woken and this wakes me and the boys some days. Praise God for ABC TV.

...Some days you just want to pull the blankets back over your head and stay there ...of course, you rarely can, except maybe for 20 mins longer if DH gets up :) .Others you spend basking in the Autumn sunshine with a little more crispness in the air, listening to the blessed, infectious laughs of your children. I know what I prefer more.
...The new Babies movie is sure to bring smiles & giggles all round. See below if you would like a free ticket to the preview or an in season family pass if you live in a regional area or Interstate.

Hi Trish,

I wondered if you would like to consider writing a guest post for one of my Squiggly Sundays?

Please let me know. I am praying your house will sell quickly - and it won't be stressful for you!

Good for the teen! (Not so good for you)

I would suggest you lower your expectations on the clean house - not possible right now!!! Ours borders on bombsite most of the time - decluttering has been my best friend.

Crossing fingers for you on the house sale. It will be good x

@Rach - I would and I will email you :)
So do I - fingers x

@Multiple Mum - it is my hub who has the high expectations . He who sends stabby looks my way if I dare approach the computer when things are left undone or the children wreck havoc behind my back he catches me unawares. LOL

Good Luck with the house selling!
When we sold our house we first cleared out 5 pallets of stuff and put it in storage.
The lack of clutter really made our house look better and it also made it a little easier to do a quick clean up!

Oh girl, selling a house and moving is so stressful. Good luck. And beautiful pictures.

Best of luck with the sale, sounds bittersweet. I felt the same when we sold and moved, and that was only across town! But keeping a home 'inspection ready' is definitely a challenge with children!

Moving house is such a mix of emotions, best of luck with the sale and the move.

Looong long ago I blogged about the Babies movie when it was first came out in the USA and was so bummed that it wasn't getting an Australian release so I ordered a copy and have watched it so many times! It's brilliant :)

Wowee look at those amazing pictures.
Clever you to have the camera at just the right time it's a lovely image over the house.

I love the last picture equally as much and I'm sure these little larrikins bring much joy despite their boisterous boyness.

xx to you on this drizzly day in QLD. Felicity

@mummyhat - we have heaps of stuff in storage or up at the farm already and in the garage. We have another load to clear.Great idea.

@cat -thanks, it is stressful and more so moving away from people.

@Kate- hubby thinks we'll be spending a lot of time at the farm to keep the house clean.

@Glowless - I know I can't wait the trailer is so cute. Free tickets can be yours if you want since you are interstate.

@ Berta - they can rip through a clean room in minutes and make it look like a bomb site.

@Felicity - thank you , I had to take a long walk back to get the pic over the shed one - barefoot in the prickles too.
My boys bring immense joy indeed even with all the mess ...not sure what I used to do with my time.

Wow, changes afoot. That's so great about your teen's mini promo, good on him! And lol, yes, praise be for Giggle & Hoot eh?

How i agree with you, some days it'd be so nice to pull those covers up over your head but the most you ever get is an extra 20 mins. Ahhh how I relate!

Absolutely love the photos in this post. Good luck with selling the house, hopefully your time of keeping it spotless will be very short.

We're moving too. Renting out our place and living with my inlaws. I'm very apprehensive too, even though deep down I'm sure it will work. I guess we have to take that leap of faith?

Love the pics too Trish, very inspiring x
