hi Caz ~ We have a little Olive grove at the farm - planted by the previous owner and these are the first olives we have seen.

I love olives, I remember picking them as a kid and Mum and Dad pickling them. I hope you get a good crop!

Lovely photo and interesting that you have them growing. I personally don't like them to it but do enjoy using the oil in cooking.

At the house where I nanny they have a hedge of olive trees. I've never seen anything like it, it looks superb. xx

The Olive trees are growing on the farm we are moving to near Dubbo.
I was driving down the track and explaining to my Olive loving friend we didn't know how old the trees were (there are about 20) ...and when they would fruit.
She said " I think I can see Olives "
What The ?
I hadn't noticed them a few weeks before LOL - and was driving so I wasn't looking at the time.

Yes, we are going to pick, pickle and salt them or whatever. My friend was quick to google for me the info.

I don't think we can make olive oil though.
