I went there about 30 years ago!! Wow. You've given me a flashback and reminded me I got old....

It's a very special place and not too overdeveloped.
I'm old too and cheering it :)
How cute are those penguins!

Very cute, so funny to see them waddling fast to the boxes and having a spat or tantrum.
We are headed to Phillip Island on the long weekend, can't wait! Great pics

It is such a lovely place. You will be awe of it's ambience and atmosphere.
PS If you Parkrun - they do it around Churchill Island.
Those first two pics are amazing! I've been to see the Penguin Parade twice now - in 1992 and 2001 - and I know how hard it is to get a decent photo ;-)

Yes, you can't use flash on the parade but these little guys were under the board walk during the day. Contortionist moves required.
That is SO cute. I've been to Moto GP at Phillip Island but had shocking morning sickness so I'm ashamed to say I wasn't really looking at much scenery :( xx

We didn't see the Moto GP but we played the slot cars there - OMG the best fun ever for $20.
Definitely putting Phillip Island on the must see list! Those penguins, so cute :)

Wow! You actually saw a Penguin under the boardwalk? I've only seen live penguins in the zoo. Fun photos! Have a terrific day.

Thank you Cascia , someone spotted it before me ,
They are free to come and go as they please. There are also nesting boxes man-made and natural in the dunes/hills - it's a reserve with the natural beach.
