Raise a toast to Mums ~ $100 gift card giveaway

 Giveaway
I'm amazed by the way my mother has sacrificed moments of her own life for my happiness.
Mum, was married at 18yrs and I was born just before she turned 19. I am so blessed and thankful for my gorgeous mum.

Not to sing my praises (the only singing I can do) but she did a great job ;) !f I do say so myself. My brother and sister turned out ok too but shhh don't tell them.

With Mother's Day fast approaching on 11th May,these goodies arrived in my mail box from Woolworth's .

Such cosy slippers but not my size *sob*!

They have been designed to help dad and the kids create the ultimate breakfast in bed experience, ensuring mum is spoilt from the moment she wakes up...made easy with the new range which is exclusively available from Woolworths.

Whether my boys kids want to cook a delicious feast using the Breakfast in Bed Kit or say thanks with cosy slippers, hot water bottle or hot chocolate in a new dotty mug and chocolates ...I won't say no !

I'd love to spoil my mum with this Mother's day with a few of Breakfast in bed gifts from Woolworth's - sadly she lives 4+hrs away . I saw her last weekend - when she looked after me. She lives next door to my brother so he will do the right thing. I know while she would appreciate any gift , I try to find fun things for her.

She sure got her fair share of burnt toast and cold coffee over the years, and that she and my sister toasted the day I moved out...

Recently , I was also sent a gorgeous daydream Aden and Anais lightweight muslin blanket, soft and comforting , is it perfect for me when I'm on the lounge or reading. I brought it with me to my friend's to use when I want to rest in my room and not mess up the bed.

I have the one on left. I love the colour- Ocean Edge.

I loved using lightweight muslin on my twins as babies. Aden and Anais also believe that every mother or caregiver should have access to the 'wonder fabric' and its benefits so they created the aden® by aden + anais® range. Because Grownups need a little tlc luxury too.

A luxurious blanket that is perfect for adults, our classic daydream blanket is made of four layers of 100% cotton muslin and love. Cozy up with the daydream blanket during quiet nights at home or use as an added home accent. -

I still buy the Aden and Anais mum and bub products too, infused with fresh fermented pawpaw fruit, this nourishing, naturally-derived ointment relieves, protects and cleanses skin when applied topically. It smells delicious too.

Works wonders as a nappy ointment or in my house on: + minor cuts, chapped lips insect bites, cracked or chafed skin and wind burn -

The hair shampoo was so gentle on my scalp when my hair was regrowing after chemo. The products are free of: phytoestrogen, paragons, added hormone disrupters, petroleum oils, phthalates, dioxanes from sulfates, gluten, soy, petrochemicals, DEA, and artificial colors...very important to me after breast cancer.

Let's raise a piece of unburnt toast to Mums everywhere and may we share a tender moment and celebrate.

To win one of  two $50 Woolworth's Giftcards tell me how you would like to be spoiled or how you can surprise your mum or special other mum on Mother's day !

Australian residents only.

I am planning to take my mum to a day spa for some mother daughter pampering and relaxation to make Mum feel like the beautiful woman that she is, inside and out!

I'd actually love to surprise my Mum by turning up on the actual day. We never seem to manage it somehow. We would both get what we want for Mother's Day that way.
I am hoping for a poster of myself drawn by Miss 5, a story written by Miss 8 and breakfast in bed with the newspaper on the day. I want this every year and I am thrilled to say I usually get it.
My recent post Day 1: Describe your day in 100 words.
My favourite thing ever are cards drawn by my kids, I love them! I have just crocheted a doily, my Mum doesn't know and I am going to surprise her with it for mothers day. I figure that she'll love knowing I spent hours and hours making it just for her (it's only the second one I have ever made!).
Happy Mother's Day....

As a first time Mumma,
With another on the way.
There are quite a few presents,
I would love on Mothers Day!

These gifts are not the usual...
They can't be found in any store.
But OH how I do want them.
Each day I yearn them more.

So the very first endowment,
I would love to see wrapped tight.
Is the gift of "Ten Hours Sleep".
Uninterrupted, straight through the night!

Because although my girls an angel,
And she does complete my life.
Six teeth all through together,
Have made me one tired house wife!

The next delightful present,
I wish I'd find addressed to me.
Is an instant "Cure for Stretch Marks".
That leaves your skin clear and scar free!

Because, with the gift of life.
Also came a flaw or four.
Thanks to my swollen belly,
My tum now sees the sun no more.

But of all the shiny presents,
I could open with utter glee.
There is one important offering,
That means the utmost world to me.

Wrapped in a Snow White ribbon,
I want the gift of Pure Joy.
Of happiness and harmony,
For my girls and for my boy.

I want my family to be safe,
And to never come to strife.
I want to be an amazing mother,
And a dedicated wife.

So Family will you bring please,
The gifts of Peace and Joy.
For this trumps any necklace...
It's more important than any toy!

But incase my list proves crazy,
To provide by Mothers Day.
Then just make sure Chanel or Gucci,
Are en route to come my way! :)

Happy Mothers Day!

I'am hoping that my kids will take me out for lunch or dinner, last year one was broke and the other one said he forgot, maybe i will forget to the the Baby sitting when required....
Mum's beauty routine is non-existent so for a special Mother's day I will be her dedicated beauty assistant!
Oh I adore that blanket! Would be perfect for when I need a nap on the couch... You should totally hook me up with your Fairy Blanket Sender ;)

For Mother's Day I would just like to be with my kids, not going to happen cause The Damn Emos won't be able to come home, but at least I will get spoiled by Boo in his own special way.

Hope you have a fab Mother's Day, my lovely. You deserve it after the year you have had.
My recent post I don’t know how to psychologist.
I would prefer no pressies, but to be spoilt with a home-made lunch or dinner. :)
To be spoiled would be a sleep in - simple but a rarity!
I'd love a novelty teapot, a selection of expensive teabags, and the latest Jo Nesbo thriller! I’d be more than happy, and though I love my family, I'll enjoy some peace and quiet!!

As a new mother, I would love one uninterrupted nights sleep!
Really, I just need to sleep in! Please kids let me sleep in!!!!
I'd love for my daughter to make me a Rainbow Loom bracelet for Mother's Day - so far she's made one for her best friend, her daddy, her grandparents', her classmates, her teacher and even for a couple of kids she doesn't even like, yet I haven't got one made for me yet!

I like to take all the ingredients to my Mums and cook her up a big 3 course meal, hopefully leaving enough leftovers that she can nibble on for the next few days so she doesn't have to cook.
I'd suprise my sister with a bunch of flowers & chocolates since this is her first 'Mother's Day' away from her kids.

I am planning to drive her to all her favourite spots and share my memories of her. I have arranged to meet up with old friends and neighbours and then drop in to see her other kids and grandkids.
for mothers day i would actually just love for my children to have a nice fun day with no whining and no squabbling with each other (ie. as my kids are are the age where if they are together for a whole day there is usually an argument etc in there somewhere) - i know they can do it (as they do it on a rare occassion) so would be nice to do it on mothers day :) ps this year is the first year in many years my mum will be at my place for mothers day so i will cook her something really nice for dinner too :)

Love to celebrate mother's day with my mum by cooking her favorite home cooked meal,
a beautiful roast made with love, would express how I feel.
Chat to her over a cup of tea, write her a poem of appreciation too,
then give her a pot of flowers that we could plant under the tree,
as a loving reminder of how much she means to me.
Then I spend the rest of day enjoying time with my kids,
having cuddles and kisses, is the best gift to receive,
reading their home made cards, laughter and smiles everywhere
Celebrate their achievements since I been a mum,
A mother's day without a care.

Happy Mother's Day

I would like just ONE sleep in! Just one from getting up with our 8 mo son
And to then have a nice cooked breaky not cooked by me
And then a nice family day out to a park or wildlife centre as it would be our first day out as a family.. Oh I could only wish!
I'd love to go to the seafood buffet at Versace for my 6th Mother's Day, and when I mentioned this to my mum (cleverly in front of my son and hubby) she said she would love to go too. So lunch for 4 would be absolutely splendid...and I'd like hubby to shell my prawns for me too please.
This May is quite chilly and I will gift a scarf knitted by myself to my mum. Although I'm not good at knitting, I'm sure she will like it because she loves everything I make for her by hand.

I'm surprising my neighbour (who's daughter lives overseas now) with a ticket to a girls' night out to see Daryl Braithwaite at our local! We're going to relive our youth!
I'd love to win the gift card for my mum , she doesn't get to spoil herself often.
