Wordless Wednesday - " Push off "

I never noticed for years till on holidays in January that each twin pushes off /scoots with the opposite foot. Both are right handed.

Wow, it's kinda freaky the way your boys do that, like mirror images! I continue to be fascinated by the little similarities between my two, and equally by the little differences. Twins are awesome!

I wondered if they're using their 'outside' feet.... or something...

I've never taken any notice of what foot my kids use - I will be checking tomorrow and reporting back!
Oh that's adorable! I've noticed that my identical boys often mirror image one another, but they are too young for me to determine if they are right or left handed yet.

How funny that they use different feet to push off and they are both right handed. Unusual for twins as you usually see them doing the same thing. Gorgeous pics. Looks like they are having a blast x

I can't remember which one I push off with but it's different to my girl, she's right handed and I'm left. Pretty sure my youngest might be a lefty. I'm going to use being a lefty as an excuse to make the hubby help Maddi tie her shoe laces - good one eh! x
When they scoot, do they always do it side by side? Maybe that's why they've learned to do that. How funny, yet interesting. My three year old got a scooter for Christmas, but I don't think she's quite confident to use it yet.

Twins just fascinate me.... I love seeing Mama Grace's little ones synchronised sleeping too.
Wow, how fascinating Trish! I wonder if they always ride on the same side of each other too?

What great scenery to go scooting. I'll have to check when my kids are on the scooter, interesting. They are mirror images of each other, it's probably a twin thing :)

How fascinating that they push off on different feet, even though they're both right-handed. Funny how the brain works.

I'm pretty sure my daughter will be right handed. Shes only 7 months old, but so far she grabs most things with her right hand.

Thats interesting. It's fascinating to look at kids and understand their behaviour.
Interesting - little personalities shining through maybe?

Oh I love this. I wonder if it's a 'twin thing' :) Beautiful shots. xx

Our daughter rides goofy and we were wondering if you could be left-legged (or are you meant to say left-footed?) and right-handed. Mind you, we haven't decided yet whether she is right handed or not. She writes with her write hand, but does a whole lot of stuff with her left.

Such a great photo. It tells so much without actually having to see any faces.

My friend's twins also alternate hands. She notices they bowl on different sides but since they are only 2 maybe it's still too young to tell? How funny that you only noticed this about your boys recently but then again I have no idea which foot my daughter will use!
How interesting! There must be something to it...like symmetry or synchronicity...
