Wordless Wednesday - Please send rain

This was one of our dams yesterday - we had to muster the cows and move them to paddock with better dams- all the dams are very low. We are hand feeding and may have to cart water from town soon.

Oh sorry to hear that Trish, especially since you have your procedure next week. I hope it comes before then so one less thing to worry about . It just seems recently it was mega dry there, oh the life on the land, it's so tough xxxx

My hubby took photo to show me - we really need a good drop (truckload) of rain soon. We have just enough water in a few other dams over the property at the moment.

Wow, it looks really dry. It's dry here too (on the Fraser Coast in Qld) as we seem to keep missing the storms and rain that's falling elsewhere, but it looks like you have it really bad!!!

Trish, I really hope the rain comes soon we have to hope. The land is struggling with the summer heat and it does seem relentless at the moment. I'll be praying for it. My veggie patch got so sunburnt last week l don't have to dry the herbs just jar them and that was with watering.

That must be so hard for everyone, not just the cattle. I know my in-laws dam is really low at the moment, but thankfully they only rely on it for cleaning and gardening, not for keeping stock alive. I hope you get some decent downpours soon!

I will speak to my mum for you!! She is in England at the moment and it hasn't raining there for weeks! Her entire garden is a bit. I'm pretty sure she'd be more than happy to swap with or speak to the rain gods and tell them leave her alone and come and visit you!! X

I hope it rains for you and those cattle, there must be more farmers around you too who really need it, . That dam doesn't look like it's going to last too long at all, especially with that cow with his tail in the air :) Eeew xx

It's really hot here in WA too. There was a big bush fire that broke out in the adjacent suburb near our area. Thankfully it was bordered by the freeway, so there was no emergency alert for our suburb.
