Wordless Wednesday ~ Cookie Christmas Tree - Starting to taste like Christmas

Year 1 Class Party.

5 Stars ...and a little circle cutter .Tree not shown.

Chocolate Brownie Trees - I kept these ...just need to add coloured button baubles and a candy cane trunk

The photo quality isn't the finest - My hands were covered in cookie dough & icing, my kitchen was covered in flour and sugar and dough too - so I couldn't get out my DSLR - only my iPad so I could wipe off my sticky paw prints.
Are you a messy cook ?

Love the cookie tree, was it hard to make. I've looked at the cookie cutters a few times but never bought them.

And I would have kept those chocolate ones too :)

Love Christmas baking at this time of year. What a great idea with the brownies. I've never done a short bread tree but I might need to give it a go.

Yes I am a very messy cook. You did a great job with the tree. I bet you wowed them at the class party. It would of been almost sad to see it deconstructed by the kids.

I need those brownie trees, yum!!

Love the tree - what a great idea!
Loving that cookie tree! And the brownies look yummy, love the thought of them with a candy cane trunk.
What an awesome idea for a Christmas class party. I hope you don't mind, but I think I might just have to steal this idea for my son's year 3 class party tomorrow. I've got a star shaped cookie cut and everything just calling out my name. Only problem is, we were asked to bring something savoury. What do you think I could use instead? Star-shaped hamburger patties??
