Wordless Wednesday ~ Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia - Family Camp

Sam was chosen to bring home 'Buddy' the Bear from camp. Buddy is traveling Australia visiting children with NF.Joel is with class mascot , Digger !
On the weekend we participated in Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia - {Neurofibromatosis} NF Family Camp. It was the first camp we've attended.

We got to try Archery, Kayaking , Canoeing

Peace Sign.

Joel with my cousin's 3 children and 2 others.

Even the Kookaburras were friendly...I could have reached out to touch him/her.

Putt Putt Mini Golf...Joel was class' student of the week so Digger the Dog came to camp with us.

We had a great time. I am so grateful to have met other people with NF and their families. We are all working to raise awareness and fund a cure.

Looks like they had a fabulous time and I bet Digger had an even better time! Must be nice to meet people that can honestly relate. xx

Looks like a lovely family weekend. I'm glad you've been able to connect with other families in similar situations, I've found some of my greatest supporters in other parents on similar journeys to ours.

That looks like a fun day out. It must be very helpful to be able to share experiences with people who understand what you're going through, and fundraise together too.

I love it when they have mascots - and how clever to have one that is good at golf! I love archery - but it's very hard to get the technique right. A great cause and day out Trish - thanks for linky - Em x
