Renovations take forever!!!! We waited a year for our council to approve our garage conversion! And even when they did they wanted us to put windows in weird spots.. but then it took the builders almost 7 months to complete.. and all they were doing was changing the garage door into a brick wall and a doorway through from the lounge!!!

All done now - and we are now doing renovations on our patio :) Luckily that starts next wednesday and I think it will be done within a week!
Renovating is such a long process - and must try your patience to no end! But all worth it in the end! Nothing better than seeing something transformed for the better before your eyes. Gorgeous view and light in that room pictured on the left :)

We're about to do our bathrooms....I'm not sure if these images excite me or terrify me!!
It'll all be worth it when it's finished. Unless you're Tom Hanks.
Looks like it's coming together, probably not quick enough for you! What a transformation though, and the video is hilarious :)

I'm so glad to have my renovations finished ... but I do remember the initial excitement and saying to our builders "thank god you're here!!". All the best with your reno's. Cheers, Alison

I say we have been renovating our house for the last 5 years, but in all honesty we stopped before it was finished a few years ago, and need to find some mojo to get it on track again. Well done on your progress! I can't wait to see it finished, it looks amazing. LOVE The Money Pit, I sure can relate....
xx

I feel your pain - we just sold a property that we also dubbed "the money pit"! Exciting to see your progress though!

Just a little bit exciting I bet, I suppose you've just had to be patient, but I bet it's not easy. We still have a few things to do around here but a lack of money and time means it's still not done - nearly 7 years after living here!!! Glad things are happening x
