Letting Go.

Day 30 - React to this term: Letting Go

Whatever the future brings.

Sweating The Small Stuff
Clutter
{...Gas}

I saw this book at the library , randomly browsing for anything of interest, and I felt drawn to borrowing it. It is quite funny (as one would expect with Corrine Grant) but also serious and life changing. I'm going to get it out again tomorrow.

We are getting ready to move into our more permanent, temporary home and have so much stuff to let go of.

Well one day , I can bear to part with my boys things but I'll have to get tougher.
It is a great book and she writes well and humorously some very good reasons.
the first pic reminds of me the song "Que Sara Sara, Whatever will be will be"

Now I am singing it. Thanks Peishan.
Getting rid of stuff felt so good to me, and to be honest I feel like we have far too much stuff still in our Motorhome!!!
I think letting go lets one move forward to more things that are exciting
All the best with your new move.
The book looks good.

That would be very hard , I like to be prepared for everything in our caravan travel.
Oooooh, I MUST get that book! I'll read it, then put it on the shelves with the two thousand other books I have no intention of ever getting rid of.

The sad thing is, I am not exaggerating about the two thousand books. And that's just the start of it. I am a world-class hoarder. Last Christmas, I promised myself that I was going to change my hoarding ways and have a major cleanout. From the ceiling-high stacks of junk in my walk-in wardrobe, I managed to throw out three things: an 80's red leather batwing jacket that I once wore to a fancy dress occasion, a pair of black leather knee high boots (one had a hole in the sole), and a broken crock pot. Just the crock pot, though. Not the insert. You never know when something like that may come in handy. And that was all I could bear to part with.

Last month, when the cold weather hit, I mourned both the jacket and the boots. There is no hope for me. But I'm going to read Corrine's book anyway. A good laugh is never a bad thing.

Oh, and in case you're wondering why I had a crock pot in my walk-in wardrobe, it's because my kitchen is totally overflowing with hoarded cookware. This means I also have a food processor under my bed and a box of mismatched cutlery on the top shelf. Also, I discovered a small paper shredder in my underwear drawer.

Did I mention there was no hope for me?

Oh CC - Sounds like Corrine , her book is really interesting on a serious note but stacked with enough humour to keep you wanting to see her get the outcomshe desires.
I am a hoarder too I've just got to off load and let go .
I have hundreds of books too.
I'm trying very hard to just roll with things at the mo and enjoy every moment without worry or stress, it's not as easy as it sounds. Good luck with the move! Em x
