Thankful for Wintry days

Today I thankful for Wintry days for

staying inside wearing PJ's all day (I have a good excuse)
curling up with my iPad ...ahem Facebook & twitter
wearing a different scarf every day
wood fires 

snuggling in bed with the ones I love
sipping hot cups of tea 
guzzling hot chocolate

soaking up winter sunshine 
reading in bed
cooking a variety Belly warming soups ...this week pumpkin, carrot and celery & Cauliflower & celery ...today I'm making Tom Yam
roast lamb dinners



what are you thankful most for wintry days ?

Winter has so many good things going for it, much more so than summer. Although I do miss being outside. It is bitterly cold down here at the moment and I am constantly rugged up and thankful for the ducted heating.

Ah, if only. I'm from the USA and this week our high temperatures are around 100 (F). What I wouldn't give for a wintry day right now! However, that all looks wonderful...I especially love your wood stove! Five months and we'll be enjoying that kind of weather while you all have the heat. :) :) Thanks for linking with Kate today--found you on her site!

I am not a winter girl - give me any other season and I can list the joys, winter's best point is Spring is just around the corner.

Oh - and it does that misty foggy thing a treat too.
