can you see the Emu ?

One day, I'd also love to re-capture - all 12 of the silent desert stone sculptures - Sculpture Symposium , silent sentinels ,stunning against the backdrop of the setting sun ... The above photos weren't my best shots but I loved the detail in this sculpture.

Beautiful! I've never been to Broken Hill before.
It would be nice to visit one day with the boys...

Such a creative idea. I really like how in the 3rd photo the rock is shaped a bit like Australia! Nice to link up with you today Trish, it's been a while!

It took me a while but I eventually saw the bride. Loved all the other images too! Particularly the hand raising..like someone was waving hello out of nowhere :)

They look fabulous, and I agree, it would be awesome to be able to capture them in the evening when the sun is setting.

I had to look very closely at some! As always, gorgeous photography Trish! I'm about to upload some dodgy mobile photos...I never seem to grab my proper camera naymore, although I should!

Just beautiful Trish! I love rock art, and was privileged to see some in the outback on a desert trip a few years back. More painting though, than shapes out of the rock itself. Lovely!

I love these sculptures Trish, great photos. I've visited them a few times when I've been in Broken Hill, they are lovely at sunset, but I have never been able to elbow my way in front of the professinal photographers who stake their claim, to get a decent photo!
