Miracles are made in the heart - Pinocchio giveway

I grew up on Saturday night Disney . As a family we would finish dinner , settle down in pj's and watch all the Disney classics each week. Imagining myself on an adventure.

Pinocchio is and always will be one of my favourite movies . The kindly Geppetto , Figaro (cat) , Jiminy cricket (Pinocchio's conscience) and the Blue Fairy. I am in awe that Pinocchio is actually 70 years old! Who would have thought.

Though animation has evolved and improved so much in 70 years. Pinocchio is still so clever and advanced all things considered. Re-watching it the first time in years I fell in love all over again.

The magical, animated tale of a wooden puppet boy made my Geppetto, who carves clocks and toys. One night Geppetto makes a wish on a star and the Blue fairy turns Pinocchio into a living puppet. It is up to Pinocchio to earn the chance to become a real boy. Along the way he faces a few misadventures.

I loved the animation and choreography of the dancing puppets and the singing Pinocchio "I’ve Got No Strings”. The icon song of Disney - 'When you wish upon a star'. Love !

The classic moral of the story and good vs bad. The funny one liners and quotes ;
'The boy who won't be good might just as well be made of wood.'
'Knock your block off'
the more I watch the more I laugh.
Pinocchio is suitable for all the family. I think it is so important parents watch movies / DVD's with their children. There are some mildly scary bits that may affect some children , nothing that concerned my boys though.

I can appreciate the humour I missed as a child 'and the bits I wouldn't probably have understood - the ace up the sleeve of Honest John, the Mona Lisa and graffiti (when Lampwick srikes his match on it).
The original "bottom" wiggle of Mr Stromboli (aka Lisa Maree wiggle).

The bonus DVD has extra songs too , facts about the movie, the making of Pinocchio, deleted scenes and a whole lot more.

The bad news is Pinocchio was only released on Blu Ray and DVD for a limited time. You have only 2 weeks and 2 days before Pinocchio will be spirited away, back into the Disney vault

The good news is that I have one giveaway pack for one lucky reader - it's your chance to grab a Pinocchio 70th Anniversay Platinum Edition Blu-ray and DVD valued at $49.95.

Almost hate to admit this, but I have never seen Pinocchio - would love to discover it for the first time with my girls! My favourite of all time is their classic Alice in Wonderland - I could watch it over, and over, and...well, you get the idea!!
I really remember Saturday night Disney and Sunday night was Young Talent Time.

I still think Lion King, with Hakuna Matata, is one of the best.
Oh, not sure if I can be included because I am a not sure if I am classed as a resident but I do have an Aussie address if needed so not sure?!

Delete my comment if you need to. I won`t be offended :D

I have NEVER seen Pinocchio. It is a crime!

My favourite animated Disney film growing up (and still now!) was The Little Mermaid- I think it was because the sebastion the crab always made me laugh. But my brother and I used to love MIghty Ducks and Cool Runnings as well and literally watched them over and over and over and over again!
My favorite was Bambi... when I was young that was huge and I remember not only going to see it in the cinema but at home too. I cried everytime I watched it too! Thank you! Monique :-)
It's so hard choosing between the old and the new. I love Finding Nemo (PIxard, I know!), but also love Bambi.
And Saturday Night Disney was the best!! :)
I think I would have to say Snow White is my all time favourite but then again I don't thinks there's a Disney Movie I haven't liked.
Mine is definitely Beauty and the Beast. i can recite the entire movie and love to sing the songs with my little girl.
I would have said the Little Mermaid, but I think Tangled has beaten it now :)
I think I have to say I do really like Aladin.
That is a hard one, but I do love all the newish Disney/Pixar Movies. Monsters Inc is a fav of mine.
I love nearly all disney movies and so hard to pick just one alice in wonderland is fabulous closely followed by mary poppins and wizard if oz. The kids have not seen pinnochio ever so this would be great :)
It's definitely Tangled. Even though I've watched it a bajillion times.
My favourite Disney movie is Oliver & Co, I just love all the different dogs and their personalities. As a child I always hoped I would one day spot a cardboard box with a little kitten in it, but I haven't so far and my little girl has taken the name Olivia so a cat called Oliver would be a little silly.
i love wall-e. He is the sweetest robot you'll meet
It's hard to choose a favourite!

I think my top 5 would be
Cars
Wall E
The Lion King
The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
Toy Story

I recently bought a $5 cheapie version of Pinocchio from Foodland & the kids both loved it! It'd be great to have it in HD with all new animation!
I was rather obsessed with Lady And The Tramp as a little girl, absolutely loved it. I still have a strong image in my mind of the scene where they're eating spaghetti out of the same bowl. Just so sweet.
I think it would have to be the old classic Cinderella, I love that old fashioned animation, but there all good!
So hard just to choose the 1!
My faves are Monsters Inc, The Lion King and Cars.
My 2 boys are obsessed with Cars atm!
My top Disney movie is Bambi. Just makes me howl crying every time. Thanks for a lovely giveaway. I
Herbie the Love Bug is my favourite. A talking smart car . Way ahead of his time!

I adored Monster's Inc, I enjoyed watching it as much as my kid's did.
Aladdin is my favourite! Robin Williams as the genie, fabulous. I love singing along with the songs too. I'm just a big kid at heart :)
