Weekly Winners 38 2009

September 27th - Oct 3rd
Raindrops on roses edition ...
(I just this minute realised our memorial garden is 5yrs old this weekend)
It's been a mixed bag of weather this week a few very hot days and now very cold and pouring rain.

“If I had a rose for every time I thought of you, I'd be picking roses for a lifetime.”

“True friendship is like a rose. We can't realize it's beauty until it fades.”
"The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart.”
“Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness, know that, like life, things sometimes must fade, before they can bloom again.”
“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.” Dale Carnegie

The photos are all lovely - but I do love raindrops on roses.

RE: your post about one boy having a Superman and other not having one - my son has just cleaned out his bedroom and has decided the time has come to part with Spiderman. And he has TWO!! Do you want them? Maybe Superman could disappear and Twin spiderman could arrive? (They are not exactly the same.) Let me know.
