Not so Wordless Wednesday - Hands up

8.30am this morning ...
A voice rings through the house ...
You better run you better take cover !

Who did this ?

Hands Up - Suspect #1

Suspect #2

Our Crime
Being too darn cute ...
(no one say double trouble).

Guess I keep them ... till tomorrow LOL!

Ps after white spirits, methylated spirits and sard wash the stain is still slightly visible - any other suggestions to remove texta from my doona cover ?

Hey Trish, So sorry for my prolonged absence. Love how you captured the boys green-handed (or one at least). Busy with a new job here. REALLY want to blog, and catch up on reading blogs ... ugh.

Hope you are well. They are still as cute as ever. :)

Uh oh, looks like someone got caught (I was tempted to say "green handed" as well)

That is really the cutest thing I've seen all day. Sorry I don't know how to get that stain out. :(

If you haven’t already entered, this is the last week of our contest. All you have to do is guess. :)

That is just too funny. Well maybe not for you who has to wash that...but it was to me!

I am laughing now but at the time I could have throttled them ... oh well nothing a little retail therapy won't fix if the stain doesn't wash out completely next wash.
On 2nd thoughts I should leave the textas/permanent markers lying around next time I need something new LOL

So I'm curious now, was the 5 minutes silence worth it?

[Because the morning that Amy drew on the windows with soap was, but not the morning in which she played in the olive oil]

OMW, double trouble!! Sorry, I have no advice for stain removal. LOL!
My WW is also about toddler destruction!

LOL! Oh, dear! How could anyone possibly stay upset for long when the "culprits" are so gosh darn CUTE!!?!?! ;)

Oh too cute to be mad...

Tee hee hee! I couldn't be angry, either. At least, not for long.

Clearly being cute is a defense mechanism that all kids have. I have a feeling my youngest may do something like that soon enough. Good luck with the laundry.

Happy WW!

It was Ida Know! She did it! And then she drew on us to frame us for it!

LOL- it IS a good thing they are so cute!

You could try hairspray - Aqua Net aerosol, the cheaper the better. This typically works pretty well on ball point pen as well. The marker - depends more on the ink formulation, but can't hurt to try! I used hair spray to get marker off my new sectional that had been liberally applied by my 5 year old. (Who also has a propensity for liberally applying marker to her younger brothers also.)

Good luck!

That is so cute. I remember when my boys were three. "Someone" wrote on the wall in sharpie. I knew exactly who it was though, because the person drew a J and a D which was how he wrote his name at the time. Now that he's 11, he's a little more sneaky...unfortunately!!

And that is when we remember why God makes kids so cute!

Cathi said...

Hmmm, why do I think I've experienced this before?!?!

jeanie said...

lol - buy a new doona when you really need a nikko free one, in the meantime relax and enjoy this one! It means that when it becomes a tent in the back yard, you won't worry too much about it being dirty.

Randall said...

Their friend Ida from down the street did it. You remember her, Ida Know.

alicia said...

oh no!!! those little monsters! ha ha. Hmm I am not sure, what gets marker out of fabric, have not yet got to experience that joy! good luck!

oops...hope it comes out. i would have tried a stain stick or the hairspray and just keep reapplying and washing till it hopefully comes out (heat sets it more).
and hide the markers....:)

I just love the word doona! The little cuties.

Amanda said...

Uh oh!!! I know some little guys who may not be playing with markers for a while!!!

Your boys are sooo cute!

Anyhow mom, I think what they did is tame compared to this.

They're so cute, your boys.
Those scribbles remind me so much of our own walls in the kitchen and even in the living room!!! But I want to keep it so. I am even thinking of framing the areas.
