Blogger in draft Scheduled Post - Future dated

Just a quick one...
I often write a few posts in advance especially when I know I have a busy week planned. Other times I get inspired by something so I will leave it sitting in draft until I need it.

For quite a while I've wanted to write a post now and have it automatically published at some time in the future. I heard a little bit about this feature for Blogger in the blogosphere and today I went Googling.

I am pleased to say that this feature is ready for you to try out on Blogger in draft.

I have been following Skelliewag for a while - No 1 in list of

Top 100 Australian Women Bloggers (click on the pink map of Australia)

Skelliewag has so many valuable tips and she shares them willingly. Her latest on Mar 2 was My #1 Tip for Creating Better Content: Write in Advance

It inspired me to check my options about setting them to future post during the week. Today ! I am trying to get organised remember and also ease the tension my dear husband feels when I stay up late posting instead of coming to bed.

You have to be logged into Blogger in Draft then your dashboard comes up like normal - I am testing it right now ...

I will see in a few minutes if it works. Fingers crossed.

Edited to add - IT WORKS !!!!! I AM SO EXCITED

I started using it like a week ago, and has really been useful. Especially on days I work but want to get something publish on time :)

I really like the tips from Skellie too and have just rcently subscribed to her feed. It is my aim as well to have a stock of posts up my sleeve eventually, but at the moment I am pretty much going from post to post. (But I wrote a post tonight that I will publish tomorrow, so some times I am a tiny bit ahead!
