Baby's got blue eyes and can you see her fears

Please note this is a very important message about Child abuse

Today, I was reading through my new rss feeds and came across one I missed on my daily visits to Project Mommy.
On January 2oth she posted the story of Kelsey Briggs (her memorial page).
Kelsey was the victim of fatal child abuse. Project Mommy asked us to...

Please take a minute to watch the video and visit the site. Don’t sit idly by if you suspect child abuse of a child you know on any level. Don’t hope someone else will call. Don’t sit by because you don’t want to cause trouble, or because it would require too much effort on your part. Don’t let this happen to another child
and to re post this. Warning - I watched the video with tears in my eyes but it very moving and not to be missed. You can read the story in the you tube video sidebar.

Kelsey 's family have a chapter in Hugs across America.
They collect teddies for this project for children in foster care and crisis.

in this often troubled and troubling world, it is our mission to bring comfort to children in crisis through the hugs of teddy bears and messages of loving care.
Secondly, Imaginif & All for Women Forums have merged.
Imaginif and All for Women (www.allforwomen.com.au) have formed a sistership. This means we now operate our web services hand in hand (hope you’ve seen our first joint project – the Teddy Tour www.teddytour.com.au)
Imaginif was/is the project of Megan Bayliss to help prevent child abuse. The Teddy tour is their first joint project. Please take a moment to read about it.

I saw her video a while back, and I was in tears for hours. And her face still haunts me whenever I see it. Especially when she's with her dad....how tragic. Thanks for sharing those links to their site and paying tribute to her and her family.

You, my friend, are a star. Thank you for both raising the profile of Kelsey Briggs and the Teddy Tour.

Child abuse prevention is contagious. I hope someone else catches the contagion from you.

In gratitude, Mxxx

Such a heart breaking story :( The terrible things that beautiful little girl must have suffered.

Thanks the plug, and helping raise awareness :)

Sweetie~I could not watch this. After losing a child I loved more than life and losing our ability to have another child, I can't watch this. I am, however, one of those nosy moms who will make a comment if someone even comes close to harming a child im my presence and this includes verbally. I have been a pre-school teacher, church day care provider, etc and would have reported anything unusual if I had seen it. I get so angry when big people hurt little people.

Thanks for the sweet comment about Brennan. I know you understand. Hugs.

What a heart wrenching story. That poor little angel - may she rest in peace. Thank you for drawing our attention to Teddy Tour - what a wonderful, life-affirming idea. Survivors need to be heard and it's a wonderful way for their stories to be shared.

When you get a chance, please stop by my blog - I have given you a Kindness award :)

I am so sorry I need to post stuff like this .I was in tears too.Words fail me and I don't know what to reply.
The message I intended was while we all are obviously moved - others are not so aware - so like Megan said - spread the word "Child abuse prevention is contagious. I hope someone else catches the contagion "

I couldn't watch this the other day, but I summoned the courage and watched through heart wrentching tears. There are just no words for this.

I am looking into something I can day...I am checking out the links, and making a plan.

Thank you for this. I know the world can be like this...but all too often I live in lala land....trying to forget the evils of the world. Sometimes I just need a reminder.
