Wordless Wednesday : Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)

Located  in the Pudong district by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund. 
A distinct and impressive landmark - sorry I couldn't load the picture last week. This week's views were better. I still can't capture how amazing it looks.

I've been there! It's gorgeous. I was at Pearl Tower in 1997. Wow. Almost 20 years ago. And the Bund. Great part of the world. I never saw the tower lit up though. So pretty.

The only time I have seen this tower it was in the pouring rain! Looks very impressive with all the lights on.

It's stunning. I think I mentioned my niece is in Shanghai working at Disney there. Her work has been pretty full-on so I don't think she's done too much exploring yet but my bro and SIL are there at the moment so hopefully they get to do some.
