Lego Bionicles + Giveaway

I am a seasoned Lego mum , my oldest son had so many Lego Bionicles (and Lego bricks)- I was always stepping on searching for pieces to throw put them back together after the latest creation and battles.

I couldn't keep up with the names though.

Now they're releasing LEGO BIONICLE on DVD for the first time and I have some prizes to share with my readers to celebrate the launch by Universal Sony Home Entertainment.

You may have seen LEGO® Bionicles , latest and greatest offering of awesome monsterish Lego creations which morph into the most imaginative heros as they defeat evil, restoring peace across the universe or jungle or whatever .

I feel doomed - just after I've re-learnt the names of all the Pokemons - along come new creatures - so you'll be good for choices this Christmas and birthday gifts DVDs with favourite Bionicles !

What started off as a simple idea for a toy in a carpentry workshop, and continues to feed the imagination of various generations, millions of childhoods, across many different countries and cultures. It's multigenerational.

  •  Now more than 400 million people are building (and re-building) their masterpieces every year. In fact, another 18 billion LEGO pieces join their counterparts every year – and there are now 80 LEGO bricks for every person on Earth.
Seriously !
We definitely have more than 80 Lego bricks per person, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 12 goats,16 cows and 10+ kangaroos on our property.

Looks great! My little'uns are a little too little for this 'un, but good luck to all entering! #teamIBOT
Three boys here so Lego is worshipped above all else. I think I have a good decade of stepping on the little brutes and searching, like you, for that missing piece. My boys have yet to discover Bionical but when my 6 year old gets a wiff of it, it's going to be on. He's just starting to enjoy that kind of imaginary world.
My recent post Mama. Wifey. Hero.
My little Hunty, likes to get crafty, he's a big Bionicle fan and plays it as much as he can.

Just an aside, isn't Lego THE best toy ever! I wish my parents had kept our stuff

I love that they're interactive and create hours of play that uses creativeness and imagination and teaches patience and dedication.

I love the other-world-iness of the LEGO Bionicles. The clear fleuro pieces brilliantly add to this illusion. Such an exciting concept. The world needs more heroes.

Incredible adventure at home rain or shine. BEWARE of flying monsters and heroes that fight crime. Sounds of giggles, laughter, smiling faces, it's play time!
I love these guys cause I spend time with my boy building them and he can tell me all about what they do. Helps him develop social skills and fine motor skills which are all really important. Lego is awesome, except when it is on the floor ;)
I love that lego in general brings people together, not only using their creative minds, but problem solving too. The Bionicles are awesome, perfect for my little boy who loves to play and build.
We've just started on our LEGO journey - this is like looking into my future! I love how your boys can play with what they've created!

good versus evil keeps the kids (and their dad) entertained for hours
they love building bionicles then playing out scenarios and testing their powers :)
I love how after your child has made the designated creature, they can then use the parts to create their own creature.
I love the distraction it creates and the imagination it supports. I believe my kids are the best they can be because of it!
I love that Lego Bionicles have survived the test of time and keep giving the boys in my family creative joy, we used to purchase these for my cousin and now it's for my own son!
They're the masters of battle, providing endless hours of fun for my son & me too :)
