Giveaway ~ Bosch PSR 1800li-2 Cordless Drill for the Handyman Dad : Perfect for Fathers Day

DIY Giveaway thanks to Bosch & Bunnings Warehouse

When my boys were littler minions , any time anything broke - they would say 'Daddy can fix it' - even a broken glass or a window ...with his drill. Much like Bob the Builder who can forget ?

Can we fix it
Yes, we can
Bob the Builder
Can we fix it
Bob the Builder
Yes, we can

Daddy was a handyman and always doing something around our home , usually just before we put it on the market for sale ...that's another story.

You know how all the 'kids toys' these days have screwed up battery compartments - the frustration of waiting till daddy got home drove me them crazy. We probably had a normal screwdriver somewhere but they didn't need to know that.

A trip to Bunnings Warehouse , even without the play equipment or jumping castle/sausage sizzle is a highlight of the day.

I went recently to buy some storage containers and my boy dragged to me to the power tools aisle to check out what we could buy Dad [his] for Fathers Day.

'Dad' has lots of tools and he is the sharpest tool in our shed, there is always room for more POWER tools, as he tells me.

I was offered a Bosch PSR 1800li-2 Cordless Drill to review and one to giveaway ! I couldn't refuse an offer like that. I might get my little pink cordless drill back now.

Though I wanted to surprise him, I had to ask his opinion. The minions need not know , that Dad has seen his surprise new toy  tool!

Hubby was impressed with some of the many features .

  • Long life of the changeable lithium-ion battery pack
  • 20 pre-selectable torque settings plus a drill setting – optimum power for every application
  •  3-stage charge FUEL -battery level indicator
  • Bosch Electronic speed control: “accelerate” from 0 – max. using the trigger switch
  • Keyless chuck with Bosch Auto-Lock for the fastest and easiest bit changes
  • PowerLight – thanks to the built-in LED
  • Forward/reverse indicator lights
  • Flat bottom battery so stands up by itself

If my boys had the chance they would buy Dad more tools and big boy toys like these

Hang some pictures, put up some towel rails, maybe the promised cubby for the backyard .....or maybe I'll just learn how to use it!

I have a long list of DIY jobs that need doing. Bring on the Bosch PSR 1800li-2 Cordless Drill. I'd actually love to have a go if I can prise it out of his hands. Maybe I should just mention the handy chores to be done and wait for the dust to settle.
Finally get started on that awesome cubby house he's been meaning to build but never started

I've been waiting for the magic elves
To install an array of shelves
That have been sitting on the floor
For three years, or is it four?

'Daddy' protests he lacks torque
To make the screws work
Seems the problem is mine
To source this power divine.

Now cricket season is looming
The odds certainly aren't improving
A Bosch intervention is required
Before the kids grow up and I've retired!
Wow, with a polishing attachment and some nice car polish, he could really do a fabulous job on my dusty dirty car!
He would use it for more (unnecessary) DIY projects around the home..purely because he can and needs something to do!
commented yesterday, but can't see my comment?

My hubby would finally get a move on repairing the kids' treehouse! He broke his drill last time he tried repairing it so he'd be super super happy if I win this for him!
My dad would love a new drill as he wants to build a deck at his house for all the grandkids to play on and a cordless drill would be extremely useful to him!

My hubby would love to have a shiny new cordless drill to use. His is on its last legs well and truly, I feel so bad that it dies on him mid-project....numerous times! As for what he could do with a new Bosch drill, well the possibilities are endless. I would love a timber screen to put our rubbish bins behind, the garden bench needs fixing up, the fridge door needs replacing, the kids cubby swingset is nearly falling apart. Poor Dads, sometimes the jobs are just endless!

He is currently owner building a house for us. He only told me yesterday that he will need an additional drill; so he does not always have to change the drill bits around.
My Dad could finally put the new blinds and pelmets up for Mum, save him a world of grief. Poor guy's over her nagging, I mean asking!
Smile because he has a new toy. Neighbour aka rude man across the road borrowed hubbies, which was working, and returned it broken saying it's how it was when he borrowed it.......and he's not even a good neighbour that we talk too, so rude of him to ask.........anyway there's heaps to be done, from fixing the fence, redoing the bathroom, the list goes on :)

My Dad is the MOTH around our joint (Derek tries hard but Bob the Builder stuff is just not his thing). Dad has recently done the screening for our hot tub, our retainer wall and a whole bunch of other manly things. Plus they just rennovated their own new 120 year old home. He deserves a new drill!
There are a bunch of very expensive frames sitting in my girlfriend's house which 'somebody' needs to hang.

His amazing and would come and fix my bed(broken for a while now), the fence, and put my chest of draws together, would love this to make things easier for him
We recently moved house and there are quite a few things in the shed that needs to be assembled. This cordless drill will make life easier and less stressful for my hubby (plus less swearing too lol) ... Thanks, great prize!
Imagine mums smile when she sees dad has finally finished the renovations he started on their house over 20 years ago. Why is it that a builders house is never finished?
A new Bosch cordless drill
Would allow me to do the jobs at will
That my beter half has been delaying
They can't be that hard - I'm just saying!
he could build a memory lane cupubaord, where we put up collages of photos, and special trinkets that make our family unique
My hubby could finally install a towel rail in the bathroom so we could stop hanging our towels on the couch...dining chairs...beds :D

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it". "Ah yes, but I can make it better" says my husband and this would be his favourite 'fixer up it '.
My in-law could finally start renovating their place, hmmm maybe just start from the kitchen. :P
