Wordless Wednesday : Finding His Zen

a Spontaneous moment - "Look Mum I can meditate , it makes you calm - can you take my photo and put it on Facebook !"
Children are natural Zen masters; their world is brand new in each and every moment. ~ John Bradshaw
Now if I could just find where I left my Zen ! Feeling mentally and emotionally drained ; so I'm slow blogging and commenting. Tomorrow is a new day xo

I wish I was a natural Zen master - or even just a Zen master full stop! I've been slow with my commenting too, it's gotten so crazy that I've actually scheduled in time tomorrow just to catch up.

Emma, I am thinking I need to do that too - meditate then schedule time to comment.
Looks like he found his happy place! I could totally go for some zen right now too.

I have found a few the boys have added to my feed lol . Sam is the same - it is my fault for encouraging it when younger LOL. I'd say let's take this photo for Nanny to see.
What a dude. I think I need to get one of my kids to do this, actually all THREE at the moment. I had a blogging lull last week and I'm back but I have so much other work to do to pay for all the expenses this time of year!

This morning I was ever so glad to send them off to school or I'd have tied them to clothes line for the day. It lasted 5 secs ;) Em !
Good for him!! I didn't even know about such things at his age so he's a clever little fella. Hope you feel more refreshed soon Trish! xo

It was so random - I think he said he learnt it at school . Must ask his teacher. Thank you , Min - it's a crazy time of year.
:-) He is rad. I like the idea of kids learning to meditate to center themselves and just be idle, but I'm yet to really know a kid who is actually capable to sit long enough (for a photo perhaps) to achieve this!

Hi Vicki, it lasted 5 secs but I plan on making it a competition to see which twin can outlast his brother or time them. I think it will reap rewards (peace and quiet for me until they catch on) Vicki.
You're kids are so cool! When I was teaching I once found a book of childrens' yoga. It was all bright and colourful like a picture book and all the positions had an animal, it was so cute. I would get 30 5 year olds busting their yoga moves and getting their zen on and they were so good at it. While you find your zen, will you look out for mine?! xx

Sammie it lasted 5 secs but I plan on making it a competition to see which twin can outlast his brother or time them. I think it will reap rewards (peace and quiet for me until they catch on). I have a DVD called Animalates which is similar must dig it out.
I'm still looking ;)
I might find a sliver in the fudge I just cooked. Nom Nom.
5 secs is a great start! like the way you think about making it a competition for the boys!I saw that you were making fudge too, i'd really like some right now!
