Go Mad as a Hatter in Alice in Wonderland ~ A new Champion {+ Giveaway}

Inspired by the 2010 Live-Action Film , starring the irresistible Johnny Depp, this new mobile game app invites players to explore the Wonderland or 'Underland' with a new twist.

Maybe you'll find out what the *Futterwhacken is ?

Head Down the Rabbit Hole to Defend Wonderland in Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion from Disney Interactive

Disney Interactive has announced the launch of the free-to-play mobile game Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion, a vibrant world inspired by the hit live-action film, on iOS [and soon on Android devices]. Players experience the unbelievable sights and curious mysteries of Wonderland while they fight to thwart the return of the dreaded Red Queen and her minions.
                                                                                               opps not these minions

Players tumble through the rabbit hole into this fantastical land and work with the story characters to help rebuild Wonderland and set things right.

-     Playing 1 of 2 characters LEWIS or CARROL o_O - you can re-name your character in the game - with familiar friends, Alice (not a playable character), the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the March Hare you defeat the evil Queen.

S Seat yourself at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, visit the magnificent White Queen's Castle, cozy Bayard's Village, and many more.

- Whimsical riddles and make sense of the twisty illogic that characterise the delightful and intriguingWonderland. It is better if kids can read but it is simple enough with picture and arrow clues too. A short play in and I can see why it mainly appeals to younger players.

Complete the quests for rewards -stars & silver coins and  you  LEVEL UP

We liked you could pinch in and out the interactive screen , tap the screen to move and play.

It is a cute , visually impressive game , but turn the sound off down - the music is a bit annoying for me.

Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion can be downloaded via the App Store at http://bit.ly/17HLW1K.

To coincide with the game's release I have four DVD copies of the film Alice In Wonderland to giveaway.

To win an Alice In Wonderland DVD - tell me your favourite  AIW character and why ?

It has to be Alice herself. I went through school as Alice to book week and loved her blue dress and sense of adventure. I just wanted to be brave, see the Queen of Hearts and have long beautiful hair.

It has always been the Mad Hatter thought he was funny the way he talked and leapt around ,when I was a kid. and now Johnny Depp plays the role,he is not only funny but very cute to go with it :)
It's gotta be the mad hatters tea party part.

I would love this for myself - my girls are terrified of this movie, it is much scarier than what they are used to.

I only saw bits of it as our friend's daughters had it on holidays. I am keen to see it too.
I haven't seen this version either, but anything Alice they seem to get scared at, I blame the cat and the big crazy grin!

The White Rabbit: he reminds me of myself. Time just slips away & then there is that mad panic.
I love Alice, I had a book when I was a kid, there was a picture of Alice asleep under a tree, she had fallen asleep readng a book and she looked so peaceful (this was at the start of the story before all the crazy stuff happens), I used to imagine myself there with her.

I love the Red Queen - even though she is nasty and evil I'd like to live in her extravagance and have her power and control
The Mad Hatter, such a duddering old fool that has always held a fond place in my heart.
Caterpillar, very precise with language. A quality I appreciate, and that he smokes a bong is pretty funny too!
The White Rabbit, because like him, I'm always late. I like the Mad Hatter, the Dormouse and of course Alice. Not so fussed on the Cheshire Cat
I love the Mad Hatter. I could spend all day having afternoon tea with my buddies!

The White Rabbit. Miss Seven always wants to hold the rabbits when we visit an animal farm. I know she'd love a pet rabbit, but with a dog at home, this would never end well. So she'll have to settle for watching rabbits on film and holding someone else's rabbit when we can. My sister has a pet rabbit called Owen Wilson ... and no dog, but unfortunately Owen isn't into cuddles. Doesn't stop Miss Seven from trying though! I also like that the White Rabbit helps Miss Seven with her rhyming .. he's late, he's late for a very important date!

My favourite character is the Mad Hatter with all his nonsensical chatter. His unanswerable riddles are fun making him the most entertaining one.
I always liked the Mad Hatter as I was a bit of a hat freak. I even went as far as choosing 'Hattie' for my daughter's name and I was definitely sold when Johnny Depp played him!

I love the Cheshire Cat with his cheesy grin. Having the ability to appear and disappear throughout the story, finding him in the most ridiculous of places. He reminds me of a big ginger cat we use to lug around as kids and dress in dolls clothes, wheeling him around in the pram. Secretly wishing I had the Cheshire Cat's ability. I'd love to disappear when the children are in the midst of their squabbles and reappear when all is quiet .
Hiya, I’m really glad I have found this info. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossip and web stuff and this is actually frustrating. A good site with interesting content, this is what I need. Thanks for making this site, and I will be visiting again. Do you do newsletters by email?
