Giveway Tuesday Matinee ~ Happy Feet 2

In the great nation of Emperor Penguins, deep in Antarctica, you're nobody unless you can sing - which is unfortunate for Mumble, who is the worst singer in the world. He is born dancing to his own tune... tap dancing.
Happy Feet Two is the sequel to Happy Feet an Australian-American 3D computer-animated family musical film directed by George Miller, who also co-directed the original film Happy Feet.

The movie was produced in Sydney, featuring Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hugo Weaving, Magda Szubanski and Anthony LaPaglia reprising their roles from Happy Feet.

It is such a fun movie , Happy Feet 2 returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D with eye popping animations.

The Master of Tap, the ever loving Mumble, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Erik struggling to find HIS talent and reluctant to dance, runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven . Sven -is a rare penguin who can fly - a charismatic new role model for impressionable Erik.

Mumble has no hope of competing with the mighty Sven. Things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right. Erik realises his father's "guts and grit".

Erik, through opera, commends his father for his bravery and eventually gets the Elephant seals to help Mumble rescue the trapped Emperor Penguins. The songs are catchy and the animations are very entertaining.

My five year olds were captivated , so was I. It is a great family movie with a few one liners
"Fluff off"
"Tear you a new nostril"

I was so impressed with the PR initiative in adopting a real life Penguin in my name   - very out of the box thinking.

My boys enjoyed going to school and telling their classmates all about adopting a Penguin from Sydney Aquarium.

I want to win this as I am starting my Christmas shopping (yes, I need to start early) and this year I am giving a book and a DVD to all the nieces and nephews. I know this one will be wanted by a couple of them to add to their collections, and as they have all just had their birthdays, I know they wont be getting it!

What impressed me both times, for Happy Feet 1 & 2, is that through incredible story telling, song, dance & humour there is an important message being told. I love & appreciate being entertained & moved & educated all in one hit - a musical hit at that.

The Penguins are cute and I think the story line from Happy Feet 1 is a great one for kids and adults equally to learn that each of us are gifted differently to each other and that is what makes us unique and set apart. Not everyone has the same gifting, nor should we try to be somebody we're not. Would so love to win this on DVD for my daughter. It will give me a break from Teletubbies! ;)

I'm a Happy Feet fan, i can't pinpoint one particular scene or character i just love the film. I love doing movie night with the family once a week involving all 4 of the children, hubby, myself some soft drink and a large bowl of air popped popcorn. This would give us some family time and something new that none of us have seen as yet.
I want to win oneof these so I can have a night off!
Miss Four was captivated with Number one Penguins, so number two should keep her out of my hair for a few hours.

Love the trailer, My little princess hasn't seen Happy Feet 1, I showed her the trailer and she loves it and wants to go and see it :-)
I love that Mumble is the under dog and comes out the winner. It teaches children (and some adults) that just because they are different or do things differently from the rest of the group they should not be treated differently. Everyone is different in their way. Its a fun and educational movie! I love it (and so do my kids)!

I would love to win this for my gorgeous kids, who love Happy Feet and I'm sure would get their dancing moves on if a Happy Feet 2 pack surprised them in the mail. :)
I love Happy Feet because it is such a positive movie- the music and storyline are uplifting and the dancing is entertaining.
I have tweeted as well :)
I'd like to win because I've had six weeks of sick kids (ear infections & tonsilitus that won't go away)... and we've been so cooped up that we are going crazy! A new dvd would go down very well!

I have a penguin obsessed 18 month old and we've just bought a in car DVD player to take on the long trips we make once a week to see family.....the only trouble is after buying the DVD we don't have enough cash to get some DVDs so she is stuck watching her 7 year old brothers boyish DVDs, I think this would be just the ticket to happiness and quite times and its a movie I know both kids would love :)
My kids have just discovered Happy Feet and it's so sweet. Such a lovely change from the shows they have been watching, I love this growth in their entertainment choices! Happy Feet two would be a perfect addition for our family movie nights!
I want to win Happy Feet for my younger son Kyle - He lights up my life with his laughter, his cute way of being and his gorgeous eyes! To see the movie through his eyes - would be like being a kid all over again :)
