Win ... Magical Tales

The new catch phrase in our house is

"Let's get silly "

...thanks Sparkles & William

On Sunday Joel & Sam were invited to a Magical Tea party with Sparkles & William

to launch Magical Tales. DH & I came along for the cupcakes ride.

To say my boys were excited is an understatement.

Possibly ... on the way , a new world record was set for  "Are we there yet ?" ...

Magical Tales , hails as the newest Australian preschool sensation with ~ Sparkles ~ a pink, punk rock, glittery fairy and her energetic, impish sidekick William the Wizard.

The real life Sparkles & and wizardly William kept the kids entertained judging by the giggles and laughter rocking the room. We had some live action singing and dancing too in a very confined space.
Where else do you hold a Magical Sparkle party than Sparkle's Cupcakery...(They were the most divine cupcakes).

As soon as we arrived the boys enthusiastically embraced Sparkles and William . After a hug and chat they were best friends. They sang , danced and kept stealing borrowing Sparkle's fairy wand and William's magic spoon.

The enchanting and very talented Sparkles and William took the time to chat to each child individually and soon had them all smiling...asking them to do silly faces and let's get silly...easy for my duo.

Then it was time to decorate their own cupcakes ... or just lick the icing and sprinkles.
Just as we leaving out comes a Magical Tales goodie bag ...

Fortunately for us ...we stopped to visit Nanny on the way home and they got to watch their new Magical Tales DVD's.
In each episode the audience is invited into the enchanted world of Magical Tales with Sparkles the Fairy and William the Wizard who use their magical talents to solve problems, help their visiting friends and sometimes create mischief.

Inspired by classic fairytales, nursery rhymes and fables Magical Tales utilises characters, themes and traditional storytelling mixed with humour and funky music to give much loved characters and stories a contemporary twist.

I've fixed up my profile with that reminder, thanks! :)

My favourite fairy tale is Rumpelstiltskin! They scammed a scammer, fun right? :) I really do love fairy tales and folklore.

At the moment our favourite fairy tale is Goldilocks and the Three Bears, but that changes all the time. I'm sure my kids will love the Magical Tales DVDs, too.

I am having issues with my blogger profile now that I have a self-hosted wordpress blog. Sigh. I think I could do with some silliness!

oh we have seen them in our house. DS6 likes to watch them, he likes Sparkles and William and not too keen on the puppets when they are on (cannot remember their names - whoops).

Oh this one is new to the pinks and I. But we love anything silly. Might have to check it out ..... looks like heaps of fun :O) Fav fairy tale ....... I'm voting for Shrek even though it's not really a fairy tale. We watched it again the other day and I laugh every time.

We encourage silly in this house! My daughter often is laughing and then stops and says "silly" with a big smile on her face.
We like the magic in fairytales, things disappear and reappear and thing change into other things. She loves all that stuff.

Ohhh they look like they had SO much fun!!

I haven't heard of magical tales either but they sound brilliant!

At the moment my little mans favourite fairy tale is Cinderella - we've got a copy of the old version on DVD and this week it seems to be playing on repeat!!

Oh my goodness, I've done numerous Google searches over the past year trying to find their DVDs... and waiting for them to be released. I'm doing little jumps for joy reading this!! My daughter takes her fairy wand and says ``spellaroo''. Once, she turned to me, quite upset, and said: ``mum, it didn't work. The room is still messy''. Too cute! I love their music - especially Job Well Done and Oops-A-Daisy.

I love it when the people involved play the part to real kids, not just TV cameras.
Looks like your boys had an amazing time!
(not entering though, my guy is a bit young for these - if my number comes up randomly, feel free to put them under the Wishing Tree or just redraw).

They look like a cooler High 5! I've not heard of them before, but I'm sure my kids would love them!

As for a fairy-tale, my kids are all over Dora at the moment, so not really a fairy-tale but my favourite is not a cartoon, but one that I've loved since it came out! Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore, she goes through having never been kissed to having her fairy-tale kiss/romance with that hottie! Cant remember his name now!!

When I was little I used to play Little Red Riding Hood. I'd wear an imaginary red cape (and be very frustrated when people didn't immediately recognize me as LRRH!) and knock on the neighbours doors trying to sell them imaginary cabbages.

I have no idea how any of that relates, but clearly I had wicked entrepreneurial skills from a young age!!

I like the wizard William because he helps Sparkles the fairy get her problems away. I also love it when they are super heros. (Airlie 5)

I follow your blog.
