Xanadu

Xanadu was an Olivia Newton John movie from 1980. The movie wasn't such a big hit but the soundtrack was.

'Olivia' aka Kira was a muse who broke the rules and fell in love .
The Muses visited Earth often to help inspire others to pursue their dreams and desires .
Xanadu was the title track.
I just loved the roller skating and Olivia was my idol lol.
Songs of the 80's...my teens are my favourite :) .
What's your favourite 80's song ?
or play along @ Thea' s
Thea's rules are simple
On Sundays pop two favourite songs onto your blog.
An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh off the charts.
I am thinking about a newie.

Calling by from Italy via Australia and Sunday Song, listening to your selection at the moment. Very cheering on a cold and wet day and one of my favourite blasts from the past!

Oh!! I LOVED that song too! So happy to hear it again, thank you.

My 6yo boy just asked my today what my favourite song was. I told him I had 2...'Echo Beach' and 'Video Killed the Radio Star'. Both very early 80s but geez I love 'em! :)

I love that song and movie. I still know all of the words off by heart too! I am so glad you joined in with Sunday Song and linked up! Thank you so much.

I have actually decided that next week will be the last Sunday Song party until January. Like everyone else at this time of year, I am going to be really busy over the next few weeks and I am going to have a little bloggy break over Christmas. So I really hope you will please join in next week for one last Sunday Song for the year!

Best wishes,
Natasha.
