Weekly Winners 47 2009

Nov 29th - Dec 5th
After surviving NaBloPomo I needed a few days off.

We've had a busy week . I couldn't show you all 288 of the happy & sad snaps we took. Here are just a few.

We said goodbye to our dear Patchy, @13 yrs he had a lot of pain from arthritis and has lately been nipping & snapping at the littles.
We have owned him since he was about 5 weeks old.He was Teen's Christmas pressie.
We had our first stage performance @ the preschool Christmas concert.
It was so hard to get a position to take decent photos. I had to ask them to put them next to each other ...then in the next song a little girl was placed between them.

Wonder what this is
The highlight was a visit from Santa bearing lollies & a book from teachers (we still paid for them :)

Mr 3 loves the hair gel ...a LOT !

We headed away to a beachside caravan park for a few days with our teen, his GF and the littles. We got to visit our friends Tiff, Noah , Ivy & their gorgeous Gran.
Found this sign on an old caravan painted flowery & hippy style.
We went to the Mardi Gras .The boys loved the historic Entrance Carousel .It's been a fixture of The Entrance foreshore since the 1930's. Initially it was horse driven with pipe organ music , then steam now it has a motor with a CD player.

We had to wait a few rounds to get the only, two of the, motorbikes on this ride.

The jumping castle slide was a hoot !

I took 60 secs to go to toilet and came back to this ... mmm MILO !

Santa came rode the Caravan park on his Honda Goldwing.

The Mardi Gras has a fireworks finale ...
We all know how much bangs are ;)

Weekly Winners is a meme to show off your favourite snaps of the week ,not a competition so anyone can join in the fun ...Please go see more Weekly Winners @ Lotus's Lotus always has some breathtaking images.

I am sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to a family member. On a much happier note, you do look like the week has been filled with much more happiness than sadness. They boys look adorable at their concert.
PS - I would do just about anything to eat a tin of Milo right about now!

So sorry about Patchy. Our dogs do so much become part of our families.

Love the Santa on the bike snap. Modern times, eh?

I love the hair gel photo - that's too cute!

I'm so sorry about your dog. I absolutely dread the day we lose our Sam.

Like everyone else here so far I'm really sorry to hear about Patch. Our Monty is 12 and I'm not looking forward to losing her one day.

The rest of the week looks like it picked up though.

I am also sorry to hear about Patchy.

For some reason, I always get a little emotional at the kids concerts, they are just so precious.
