I'd love to visit this place. It reminds me of two other places I've visited before; the Ottway Fly Treetop Walk in Victoria and the Muir Woods National Monument in California which is an old growth redwood forest. Both were utterly beautiful and amazing. By the way, will your road trip never end?

Don't treetop skywalks just give you all sorts of goose bumps ??!!!! Love them !
Those tress are so majestic ! I'd feel so tiny and insignificant stepping in there.
Thanks again for hosting WW, Trish ! x

Gorgeous photos! Nature is just magnificent, isn't it?

I know I say it every week Trish! But awesome photo's!

Skywalks are awesome and scary all at once. My Mum would never go on them when we went on family holidays.

My eldest seems to have inherited her fear of heights, I am trying my best to teach him that there is nothing to be afraid of, we are slowly getting there.

Hi Trish, Hi good is blogging for making the memories of your life (and holiday of a lifetime) into a living story.
I agree with many above, about the magnificence & splendour of nature. You sure aren't going on holidays to visit shopping centre!!
When I had an Aboriginal community member visit the school where I was principal she taught me about how trees would be often hollowed out at their base like that for:
- shelter
- giving birth

Isn't it awesome on a walkway like that? Took my 12 yo granddaughter on the Illawarra Fly in September, and she is scared of heights, but managed the walk, because of the rails, and there was not too much sway.

I am loving these pics, and so many more of your special trip.

Love Denyse XX

Brilliant pictures. You have seen some amazing sights on this trip. I love Denyse's comment too about why the trees are hollowed out. You learn something new every day!

I'd like to go on one of those walkways I think. My kind of thing.

Wow, those are some BIG trees!! When we were in America last year, we tried twice to go see giant sequoias (even bigger than these trees), but the first time our hosts' daughter hurt herself badly and had to go to hospital, and the second time, the roads were closed! Oh well :) ONE day I'll go see some big trees, lol.
