Adventures with Lego Cars2 and Duplo Rescue Helicopter giveaway

It's exciting times for CARS2 lovers with the release of Disney & Pixar's Cars2 launched in cinemas today. Going to see Cars 2 is at the top of our to do list .

My almost 5yrs old twins have also been eyeballing [eying just doesn't look right] off the new release Lego Cars 2 range. I am so surprised they actually put the Cars2 sets back on the shelf. I keep telling them wait for your birthday.

Some of the construction sets are beyond their age & ability at the moment -just look what is available !. They will love recreating the movie scenes with all their favourite characters.

Lighting McQueen, who travels across Japan, Italy and Great Britain to take part in the Grand Prix adventures, and Mater, who gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage!
Spy Jet Escape (RRP: $89.99)

Mack’s Team Truck (RRP: $69.99)

World Grand Prix Racing Rivalry (RRP: $24.99)

Escape at Sea (RRP: $34.99)

Radiator Springs Lightning McQueen (RRP: $12.99)

There are so many different sets to chose from. Specials are sure to snapped up in the upcoming toy sales which coincidentally starts the day of their birthday 1st July 12.01am.{Late night for me}.
I am thinking the Lego Cars 2 ~ Duplo will be more suitable for out and about (less pieces to lose) and a more challenging Lego set for them to share in 5-12 age range.

Duplo is still THE much favoured toy in our house, played with most days here and even at preschool I see groups of children playing with it.  These are just some of the new Duplo range.

Through building, stacking, role playing and social play, children can explore, test and push their limits and abilities.
Dr's Clinic
I love the look of the new DR's clinic (as a nurse), it's looks so much fun and would work as a great toy to introduce children to medical experiences. The nurse's car is cute too.

Who wants in -

The GOOD news - I have the 3 sets of the LEGO DUPLO Emergency Helicopter to giveaway.

what do i want to be rescued from....hmmm the horrible 4pm devil hours with my children. I often daydream of being rescued and carried away to a deserted beach with cocktails and nothing but the sound of the rolling waves :) LOL ok back to reality :)
I want to be rescued from my washing - it just never ends....I'm happy for a helicopter to whip me away from the washing (and for the washing fairies to come in whilst I'm gone)
I wish I could be rescued from toddler tantrums, a couple of times when we were growing up, my mum would come home from work to us kids fighting it out. She advised us she didn't go to work all day to listen to this, and she'd walk out, visit a friend, whatever, we'd sit in silence wondering how long it would take for her to return.
Sometimes when the kids are feral, I'd be happy to be sucked up and taken away!
Awesome giveaway lady! I want to be rescued from the school holidays coming up. Seriously! my hubby is going to be away and I will be facing the seven cherubs on my own. So not looking forward to it and I need a serious plan! Never been rescued - boring gal here :) Naomi x
I would like to be rescued from a rampaging hippo by Bob the Builder :-)
Now the sone is in my mind...Rescue Me...

I would like my body back. Please, someone, rescue my pelvic floor, it dropped out on the trampoline after giving birth to two lovely massive babies and I am still searching for it. I have checked everywhere with no luck.
lol one of my very first blogs (thus not the best writing) was about needing to be rescued (literally):
http://chroniclescamera.blogspot.com/2007/07/brok...

I can laugh about it now, not so funny at the time...nor in the months that followed it...

P.S. My boys love Duplo too! The Cars Lego would be difficult for my boys as well, but it looks super cool :) I love watching them build things!

P.P.S. Love some of the above comments - I can totally relate! Rescue my pelvic floor got a laugh from me - don't think mine can be rescued!
I need help conquering Mt. Washme and then the inevitable Mt. Foldmore that will follow soon after! I'd love to be rescued by the Old Spice guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owGykVbfgUE) so then maybe my hubby's clothes will smell like him and not like a greasy engine. Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice. ;)
Hello! I know you don't know me, but we've got something in common. I got your blog address off the Stirrup Queen's blogroll and was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me help a couple who is trying to add a little one to their family. We're holding a silent auction for them this weekend (Friday and Saturday) on goteamwitt.blogspot.com and need help getting the word out! We would love it if you would spread the word via social media or here on your blog. Additionally, we are always looking for more donations to auction off, so if you or someone you know might be interested in making a donation, all the information is under the donate tab. If you have any questions or would be willing to post a pre-written blog post about the auction and the sponsored couple, please contact Kristin at goteamwitt@gmail.com Thanks in advance for taking the time to consider this!
I need to be rescued everyday between the hours of 4pm -6pm preferably by my wonderful partner who would have already arranged for a childminder and chef to do the nightly duties while we are away relaxing in a lovely restaurant.
My co writer at Alice Becomes had to be rescued by firefighters from a 6 story high block of apartments when she managed to get locked in the master bedroom with two girlfriends. They were about 17 and staying at her Aunt's flat. They got a little paranoid and locked themselves in the master room when they went to sleep at night, only to find they couldn't unlock the door in the morning. They called my (now) husband, who drove 20 minutes to watch in laughter as the Fire - ies used their big ladder to get in through the window and break the lock down. A great story we love to tell over and over!
Hmmm, when you draw the winner of this competition I will begin my trek along the Kokoda track. I am really hoping that I don't need to be rescued this year!
If I win one of those Duplo Helicopeter, they will certainly rescue a few hours of my day by entertaining the kids so that I don't have to. Not that I mind entertaining them, but it's nice to have some time to yourself every now and then.
I was rescued by the elderly couple who live up the road from me. I locked myself out of the house, wearing my PJs (no bra!!) while Tricky was inside asleep. They took me inside, gave me tea and let me use their phone. I'd have preferred to be rescued by George Clooney whilst wearing something fabulous but alas, it did not happen.
In the black of night with the rain pouring down,,
Running late to the Ugandan campground,
We were all traveling in the truck,
When things began to become unstuck,
The wheels began to spin,
A dirt road turned to mud and panic began to set in,
Stuck in the mud in the dark in the middle of Africa is not fun
We needed rescuing but seriously! who would come!
Into the dark my now hubby and all the men went,
Like warriors to work they were sent,
Into the jungle and cut down branches and wood,
Stuffed it under the wheels until they thought we were good,
We slipped and slid heading for the edge of the road and the valley below,
When finally with the men pushing, including some lifesaving African fellows,
We gripped dry earth and roaring off to the top of the hill went,
All the men were completely drenched and spent,
The men rescued me and us all,
Thank goodness for hubby! That's why I married him of course!

My daughter would love this Duplo she calls then Wokka Wokka's and always runs outside to watch them fly over the house so she would love to play with them!

I want to be rescued from my 3rd pregnancy! Heeeeelllppp Squeeeeek :D
id like to be rescued from the middle of the night bed invasion just a full nights sleepwithout being squashed to the very edge of the bed would be so nice!
On Christmas morning we were travelling to my parents house (7 hours away). It was raining i hit a pothole and the tyre blew out, sending us across the road, down a hill and through a farmers fence. Lucky no one was hurt. My hubby came to our rescue, he fixed my car and got us back on our way.

My little guy would love this, as i have band all electrical gaming devices in our home at the moment this would keep him occupied.

I would love to be rescued from the panty (actually, the pantry is harmless, I need to be rescued from my own insatiable appetite for everything in it!)
I want myself to be rescued from the increasing clutter in the house. No one tries to arrange the things except me and this wants me to run away from the house.
I want to be rescued from the insufferable construction going on next door!!
Someone please rescue me from the dreaded night-time routine of (trying) to put my son to bed. Just once I'd love to put him to bed and he goes to sleep straight away and I get a full nights sleep. That's what other people's kids do, right? LOL!
