101 writing tips ... writing 101

I found this excellent link 101 writing tips because as I finished school and studying too many years ago to count, I thought it worthy to share. ( all wrong I know)

Though my maths is strong - my grammar and punctuation ain't ! or should I say isn't ?

It is very funny, tongue in cheek too !

Your turn
- do you care about how well a blog writer writes ?

do you just skim it anyway to get to the point or read it carefully?

what turns you off (in a writing sense - please keep it clean) or on in a blog ?

In case you haven't guessed I write off the cuff. Whatever comes out of my barely there brain. :)

I tend to be a fairly off the cuff blogger, so I really quite like freestyle.

That being said, if someone constructs well and pays attention to detail and presents a beautiful object, I like that too.

What don't I like?

Hmm - if it takes too long to load, if there is no point, if they have ignored spellcheck accedentally and it is not dullibberate, if they insult the reader (there are a plethora of ways to do this) or if I am in a bad mood - which another blogger cannot know when creating their blogs!

Wow...what great info. I read and reread my blogs all the time and I still find malfunctions later on. Hey, I was born in 1966 too:) Happy WW my friend and thanks for the love and for stopping by.

Hmmm... Let's see...
Since English isn't my first language I know I keep miss simple grammatical rules in almost every posting I have, but can't do much about it except hoping that my writing makes sense to my readers :D

And I do love smilies :D They make blogging light and easy (that sounds like a diet ads!).

To me the most important thing in writing a blog is about originality and honesty. I am interested in simple, genuine things. And I love sarcasm, in funny way. I think it's hilarious! :p

I hate provocative blogs whose writers like to think that they're better than anybody else, and bullying readers who leave comments and sometimes even worse leaving trashy comments in others' blogs. That's just unacceptable.

Oh, about that 101 Writing Tips, they're really great but I have to confess that I stopped at tips no 25 because I got confused and went blank :p Poor my tired brain!
